39 students from a mix of school years took to the streets and attractions of London in early September. Taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the capital from Greenwich to Westminster and beyond in spite of the challenges posed by a Tube strike for all but two of our days there. For the first time two West End shows featured on the menu, the by now classic Mamma Mia and the new boy in the ‚hood, all the way from Broadway, Hamilton! Both shows will live long in the memories of those who enjoyed them as will the museums, galleries, street food and rooftop viewpoints that peppered the trip. We even had practical lessons in Shakespeare, road safety and document handling to boot to round off another great week.
